Behind Ocean Touch is Ivana, a physiotherapist whose work is shaped by experience across luxury hotels, yachts and holistic wellness environments.

“Where experience becomes method.”

I’m Ivana, and my work blends wellness consulting and concept design with a background in physiotherapy (BSc), Pilates, and massage therapy, shaped by over ten years of experience in the wellness field.
My professional background includes work in luxury hotels along the Adriatic coast, a boutique property in the Austrian Alps, and private yachts, shaping my understanding of wellbeing, service culture, and guest experience.
Working across different environments has informed my approach to wellness, with an emphasis on context, intention, and quality of execution.
Today, my work centres on wellness concept development and collaborations with projects that value clarity, quality, and long-term thinking. I remain open to selected freelance and yacht engagements aligned with my direction.
The work begins with observation. Each space is considered through its purpose, the people who use it and the rhythm of their stay.Listening to your needs is central to the process.
Several conceptual directions are developed and refined.
The approach adapts to context.
In hotels, the focus is on continuity and guest flow.
On yachts, attention is given to limited space, flexibility and daily onboard life.Where yachts do not have a dedicated treatment room, plans and treatment programmes are developed to enable wellness services within the existing space.
The work follows the overall concept of the space, often in collaboration with interior designer.
Practice turns concepts into practical work.
Sessions are adapted to each environment and its operational needs.
The process includes staff training, hands-on guidance, and ongoing support during implementation.
Presence on site allows treatments, routines, and protocols to be refined in real working conditions, ensuring consistency and ease of delivery.
Development focuses on defining the practical components of the wellness concept.
This includes selecting materials and equipment for the space, as well as oils, colours, and sensory elements that support the overall direction.
During this phase, service structure and supporting marketing content are also developed, ensuring the wellness offering is clearly presented and easy to communicate.
All decisions are made with attention to function, consistency, and suitability for the specific environment.
